Our Play & Learn program offers quality care for children ages one to four up to four days a week.
The program is open to all persons and you need not be a Woodlawn Chapel church member.

ABOUT PLAY & LEARN AT WOODLAWN CHAPEL…

Our Play & Learn program includes learning both social and academic skills through fun activities such as free play, recess, crafts, music, chapel and circle time. Our activities are developmentally appropriate and geared towards your child’s age level. Children are divided into classrooms based upon their age.

The Director of our program is Amy Reed.  She has been a teacher in our Play & Learn program for over two years, becoming our Director in 2025. With her Masters in Special Education, years of volunteer experience in preschool Sunday school instruction and six children of her own, she brings a wealth of knowledge to our program. She looks forward to guiding our Play & Learn program in ways that will enhance the children’s personal interaction with others through play and preschool instruction.  She looks forward to continuing the Woodlawn Chapel tradition of fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment for all children.

I have had 7 grandchildren in Woodlawn’s Mothers Day Out  (now Play & Learn) Program over the last 16 years. Beth opens the door and greets each child as they enter. The teachers’ positive attitude and welcoming manner put the children at east immediately. I really believe this is a wonderful introduction to children’s school years!

It is obvious that the teachers really care about the kids and are genuinely happy to see them every day. The facility is wonderful. The classrooms are big and bright and welcoming. The playground is large and well maintained and the kids love playing outside.

Our Program offers:

  • Chapel Time- Led by Pastor Chris Keating, this includes a Bible story and songs. 
  • Music Time – includes preschool songs, holiday songs, Christian songs and a Spring Sing program
  • Choices to fit your schedule – choose a one-day, two-day, three-day or four-day a week program

  • Woodlawn Chapel is conveniently located near shopping, banking and workout facilities at Clayton & Strecker Roads in Wildwood.

We value your time and are proud to offer flexibility in our Play & Learn program. Parents may choose either a one-day, two-day (M/W, T/Th), three-day or four-day a week program. Experienced caregivers provide a full day of learning and fun activities including free play, crafts, story time, circle time, recess, chapel and music. The program runs Monday through Thursday, from September to May, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with an Extended Day option from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., every day.
