Celebrate With Us!

Woodlawn Chapel has been a fixture in west St. Louis County for 32 years, and we invite you to come and celebrate our past, present, and future on Pentecost Sunday, June 5, 2022.  Worship will include a time of honoring our charter and “30 year plus” members and friends, followed by a birthday party picnic in our pavilion. Join us this Sunday! Wear something red in recognition of the Holy Spirit.

In 1989-90, a small dedicated group of  dreamers and pioneers began planning the groundwork for a new church  at the corner of Clayton and Strecker Roads. Presbyterian leaders and dedicated church members saw this an exciting opportunity to begin serving the needs of families moving into this new town.  As the Wildwood community has grown and prospered, Woodlawn Chapel has matured in its faith and witness–always remaining a living, loving, and learning family in Christ.  Woodlawn remains an intergenerational church that treasures opportunities for fellowship and service. Our members are involved in meaningful acts of service, enriching Bible studies, and life-renewing fellowship. We gather each week in hope and expectation that God is about to do something new in our lives, and are sent into the world to share the Good News we’ve heard.
